The Conference spans five days, from Wednesday 19^th – Sunday 23^rd, September 2012.

The first day, Wednesday, is dedicated to the reception of participants and an introduction to the conference.. The meeting in the afternoon will see the participation of international scholars and of representatives of the conference’s promoters (Associations, Universities  and Venice Council) and is open not only to registered participants, but also to the general public. In the evening after dinner, we have planned events in the city of Venice with musical performances, artistic and symbolic gestures.

The three middle days are the heart of the conference, including indepth work-shops, open discussions and lectures. Thursday and Friday evening there will be an organized meeting with national and international civil society networks.

Saturday evening will host a convivial feast with music and art and is also open to the public.

On Sunday we will work on the connections made during the various work-shops and will dedicate a space for proposals and prospects fordegrowth and the next international conferences. At 13.00 we will close the conference. The afternoon is set-aside for the relaxed departure of participants unable to stay for the parallel events.
